Not sure what kind of shoes to bring to your boudoir shoot? Do people even wear shoes during their shoot? If you’ve thought about either of these questions, you’re definitely not alone. I get asked this all the time. My answer: you should wear whatever you feel good in, or whatever you want to feel good in. And if you’d rather be barefoot the whole time, that’s great too! There is no wrong answer.
I’ve photographed women in combat boots, cowgirl boots, 8” heels, flip flops, swim fins, a mermaid tail, Doc Marten’s, Chuck Taylors, thigh-high leather boots, ballet flats, and strappy wedges. The list goes on… Not every photographer has this same approach, and that’s fine. It allows you to find the right photographer based on how you want to be seen, and for me, that’s the most important thing. I want you to have the best possible experience and we can showcase your awesomeness based on your personal style.
